Chi Nguyen

Ms. Chi Nguyen is a Sustainable Tourism Specialist and ESG Consultant with over 13 years of global experience. She is the Founder of Empower Element, a consulting firm specializing in supporting tourism businesses and destinations in carbon accounting, ESG reporting, certifications (e.g. B Corp, Travelife), and sustainability strategy.

Through her work, Chi has delivered more than 500 hours of training on sustainable tourism and ESG for organizations and specialists across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Pacific. She frequently collaborates with international institutions, including Malmö University, where she leads an annual ESG training program.

Currently, Ms. Chi is also a consultant at Green Transition Consulting & Training. Prior to founding Empower Element, she served as Global Sustainability Account Director at Travelife for Tour Operators, where she guided major tourism companies through certification processes, sustainability management, and carbon footprint calculations. Earlier in her career, she coordinated sustainability initiatives at Footprint Travel (Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos).

Ms. Chi holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Destination Management from Breda University of Applied Sciences (the Netherlands) and continues to pioneer sustainable tourism practices worldwide.
